We set out to do the Hood River County Fruit Loop. It is a 35 mile scenic loop in Hood River Valley. There are 36 “stands” that offer fruit, wine, lavender and so much more.
Our first stop is the The Gorge White House Fruit Stand and Winery. The peaches were absolutely delicious! They have a pick your own flowers too – if only I lived closer. The wine and cider also great (really enjoyed the Heritage Pear Blueberry wine) and again the view
We continue on the fruit loop to Packer Orchard and Bakery. The marionberry scone and oatmeal raisin cookies are a delightful treat. Bought some delicious Hood Berry jam. I love marionberry!
Wy’East Vineyards and Tasting Room is our next stop. Another amazing view, great place to sit and enjoy the great wine loved the Pinot Gris and the Vinette (a Pinot noir).
We continue on the fruit loop to Draper Girls Country Farm and then Cathedral Ridge Winery (love the Pinot Gris). I know I am being repetive but again the views and the wine!
We return to Hood River and enjoy a delicious lunch and beer on the patio at Full Sailing Brewing Co. with a great view of the river and windsurfers.
